Sand Dancers

Overview

Jimmy Simpson, a 25-year-old surfer from South Shields, who lives with dyskinetic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, has discovered surfing. Sand Dancers documents Jimmy’s attempt to compete at the English Adaptive Surfing Championships in Bristol. Set on the wild north-east British coast, his story is one of resilience, community, and the boundless joy of riding waves.
